vacuumhoses up the wrong way to bleeder valve, or turned the red/white checkvalve backwards.
I try to remember from memory now, because I don't have a TCS car here right now. ( had three of them last week )
If you unhook the red/white valve vacuum hose from intake and bleeder valve, you are suppose to be able to suck air through the valve toward the intake side.
That same vacuum hose is suppose to be hooked up to nipple on bleeder valve that is pointing toward left side of car ( Oops I almost said driver side, but as I remember you are in UK, right?
The nipple pointing straight down is for the vacuum hose going to the upper nipple on throttle body, ( not the hidden one under).
And the little short stump vacuumhose is toward right side of car.
And in this scenario I assume that the bleeder valve is mounted on your driver side? I don't think they bothered to switch around in the engine compartment on right hand drive cars?
