Hi nt,
I didn't understood your problem against ACC. If you set it to HI, everytime you'll turn on the ingnition you'll find the fan on and the flap that allows air to pass thruogh the heater core open.
If you set it to a lower temp, you'll find the fan going slower.
What's wrong with it? I had my 9k with no compressor for almost an year before replacing it, and I did never wanted to exlude ACC. Maybe this can be due to our different climates, Minnesota is much more colder than Italy.
BTW, I believe that controlling the fan by something else than the ACC can be doable, and so for the flap, but how about opening/closing all the openings from where the air comes from? This wolud be much more complicated to do without an ACC unit.
Ciao!
Stefano
