I have had a supposed door sensor problem for some time now where the dome light goes off while driving the car from time to time and the car alarm is tripped if it sits for more than 30 minutes. I was learning to live with it when the other day the alarm went off as I was driving down the road. This is an old factory alarm, so I had to turn off the car, get out, lock the doors, and then unlock the doors just to shut it off. Trying to be tricky about it, I turned on the dome light and waited to see which door light turned on with it. When the dome light went off, all of the door panel lights were dark and the dash did not have a door open illumination. Is there some second junction I should be testing/looking at where the dome light and alarm system come together or is this more likely to be two seperate problems?
