My car starts and runs right even with nop AMM, if under 3k rpm. So I don't think your AMM is bad.
The TPS (throttle position sensor) in your (and in mine) car is reads only the full throttle pos, to swithc off the A/C compressor. So it can't be the culprit now.
Follow Roman's advices, the problem can't be out of the ones he mentioned.
