Getting to the antenna motor is pretty easy in the 93. Remove the cargo floor - two T-25 screws just ahead of the hinge point. Look for little dimples/holes in the flooring - a bit left of center and about 6" from the right side. Remove the screws and pull the floor out (the Aero has an audio amp fastened to the underside of the floor - in that case, just fold the flooring at the hinge and rotate the flooring 90 degrees - but I don't think yours will have that, so you should be able to remove the flooring. Next, remove the four T-25 screws from the plastic panel along the back of the cargo compartment, then pull the three plastic push pins loose - pry up at the pins while pulling on the fabric. Set that aside ("thow it out in tha yard"). Remove the two plastic retainers inboard of the tail light assembly. Now grasp the side carpeting and pull away and forward - it should come out easily with a firm tug - and rotate forward. Remove the three 10 mm screws securing the antenna stuff - one at the top, two at the bottom. Remove the 15 mm nut (or is it 16mm/5/8"?) from the mast at the fender. Disconn ect the electrical connectors - pry the side clips out from the one facing the center and pull it loose. The ones facing front have slide locks - push the red slide lock upward on the top one, downward on the bottom one - then they will release. Pull the antenna wire out of its socket. Voila! You now have the whole unit. Remove it. You'll need a tiny 7 mm socket to remove the nut from the motor housing ... probably only a 1/4" drive one will do. Don't have that, do you? A milion dollars for tools, and you still don't heva what you need! Well, join the club! Go with what you have, and see if it works. Once that nut is off, all hell should break loose ... the nylon retractor cord will burst to get out of its housing. So take all the old stuff out and discard it. After that, you should be able to reassemble the housing, put it all back in, and feed the new nylon thingy in there (turn radio on and feed the new nylon thingy in). I hope it works that way ... let me know.
