...in about 65 pieces.
I proudly grabbed the plastic thing with the teeth which popped somewhat out of the round drum, but not only does it not appear to be broken, it simply will NOT come out of the assembly in any fashion. It won't cup UP because when I pull the antenna mast up it comes, but then something stops it from pulling all the way out. So I tried pushing it all the way back in. The mast went all the way back down, and the plastic long piece with the teeth went nicely all the way back down to the round drum piece, but I cannot pull it out that way, either.
Can't proceed any further until/unless I can resolve this.
Bottom line, I cannot get the long plastic piece with the teeth removed from the assembly.
I haven't cut the mast yet, because I can see clearly that cutting it won't do anything to improve the situation, because the problem is BELOW the mast, inside the larger cylindrical "housing"...
Should I try to get into that somehow?
Thanks for your patience.
