unless the old bushings were very worn.
Since the panhard rod has little or no effect on vertical or "major" motion, the change from good/new rubber to poly bushings could only account for a 1mm - 2mm reduction in lateral movement of the rear suspension during hard cornering.
Even if you could feel a difference, it would be very hard to tell if it offered any genuine improvement in handling.
It seems entirely possible to me that slightly REDUCING the stiffness of the panhard rod could just as easily offer an improvement in handling - by increasing the fluidity of lateral weight transfer in the rear.
I'm all for experimentation, so perhaps you could try out the polyurethatne and tell us what you think... :)
