No, I'm past the work on my antennas. Did that on all my former 9k's sooner or later.
They make a heck of a noise, especially going in. When it's raining (and it sometimes does in NL), radio reception is a bit worse, but I cannot make out whether it's general atmospheric conditions or moist getting between the antenna segments making it crack a bit. The segments just wear out a bit over the years. Nothing to worry about.
I remember from one of these former cars that when I had to replace the antenna, I found out that the SAAb antenna is actually a Hirschmann, which you can buy in any good automotive store for 1/3 of the SAAb price. Cost me $40 (three years ago) for the total assembly.
If I had your email adres, I could send you the drawing on how the washer reservoir is constructed. Not the actual dismantling instructions, but for that Haynes will do. Are you interested?
