ONe TCS is not the same as the other. Part of the 'mechanical stuff' is, like vacuum hoses and valves use similar configuration.
But the systems are different over the years and very much so for auto and stick. Even If I'm always ready to give sensible or non-sense advice, I'm very cautious on THIS one: Until very recently I've owned a '92 CSE T auto w/ TCS/ ETB, Jetronic, euro spec. Now to a certain point I know something about the system fitted and when I had trouble with it, I could fix it up to the point that it needed calibration with Tech II to get it back on the road again.
The TCS on the V6 I drive now is TOTALLY different and I don't know heck about it yet.
But when one goes into this matter, one readily finds out what one DOESN'T know about it, especially when someone else's car is different from yours.
So in that case I better keep my big mouth shut.
And be very careful with the advice you get, try to separate the good ideas from 'does not apply in my case'.
Sorry, that's all I can tell you.
Good luck, anyways
Jan Geert
