Cranks but won't start

My 1994 Aero stopped running yesterday.
It was running fine, then shut off after parking. 15 minutes later it would crank fine but would not fire. The same is the case today, it cranks but will not fire.
The tachometer does not move at all during cranking so I'm suspicious of the Crank Position Sensor (CPS). Are there any definitive tests that can be done to test the CPS? Will the TechII or ISTAT find a failed CPS?
I will check fuel and spark later today but I was looking for more information on testing the CPS.
Thanks.
