I've got a '93 9000 CSET. Similar symptoms, apparently due to a bad voltage divider in the ECU on the o2 sensor input. You can check for this by disconnecting the o2 sensor lead in the right side bulkhead, and measure the voltage to ground on the black(?) lead to the ECU. I think the 2 preheater wires are white. If the black lead isn't about 0.45 VDC, then you may have a similar problem. This reference voltage merely supplies an average o2 value to the ECU, until the o2 sensor is up to operating temperature. Mine reads 0V with the o2 sensor disconnected, and I suppose I could fix it, but I'm just living with it for now since it's only an issue during warmup, and I might be upgrading the ECU before long.
