Before the battery died completely, I used to be able to see all other lights when I turned the ignition on;just no start. The headlights even worked. At this point, jump-starting could start the car. I had to jump start the car every single time to make it work. After another week or so, even jump starting didn't help, but I could still see the lights inside thew car. Within another 2 weeks; dead battery. It was only 4 months old and covered by warranty.
At first I was thinking it could be a selonoid problem. But the new battery starts the car with no problem. I used a voltmeter last week by plugging one end to the batter - terminal and the other to the - cable. I removed every single fuse one by one. I saw no drop in the voltmeter level.
I will also try plugging to the positive terminal and unplugging all fuses. I hope I can find something out. Is there a chance it still is a solenoid or starter problem. How can I find out?
