The older my car gets, and the more suspension pieces I replace, the harder it seems to ride. In my case, I've been going to the cheapo (but still great performing) summer tires. The Kumho 711 and Yokohama AVS Intermediate may be great performing tires, but to say their day has come and gone may be putting things nicely... Who is to say what would happen if I put a set of S-03 or SP9000 or Pilot Sports on my car, maybe all my problems would vanish.

However - I still think there is more to it than that. Ever since I had my shocks/struts replaced with new OEM Boge (and this was in the middle of the same set of tires), the ride has been really stiff. My car vibrates a lot more than it did before the shocks, and since I had the Abbott control arm bushes and rear anti-roll bar bushes, it seems worse. So there's now way in hell I'm going to spring for some stiffer springs, or the SAS sway bars, both more or less guaranteed to stiffen the ride even further, probably shaking the body of my car to pieces.

But the stereo will still be loud enough to drown it out, as the body is falling off! :)

Say, how long do Saab bodies last anyway? I really feel sorry for my car some days. It feels solid, but sounds in pain on bad roads...

Oh, I was also hoping that switching from my aftermarket wheels using spacers and hubcentric rings, back to Saab wheels, would improve matters. Unfortunately, it didn't make the slightest improvement in vibration.
