The trouble with living in Hong Kong is that I'm so far away from any and all parts-suppliers. I had a need for what turned out to be a $16 part, the horn buttons, (I only needed one, but you have to buy a pair, so I replaced both)I found that there were at least two suppliers who advertise here who could help. The only problem was that they both shipped via commercial carriers (UPS) who wanted over $50 (FIFTY) to get the part to me.
Someone I met on the TSN 9000 BBS helped me out. Here's a guy I've never met, who went out, bought the parts for me and sent them to me via regular mail for $17, which was worth it to me. All of this was done on a trust basis. I've gratefully sent him the cash. Astoundingly, he was not the only one. One gentleman attempted to remove the horn-button from a car he was parting-out in order to send it to me free. Unfortunately, it got broken during removal, so he offered to go and buy the parts for me.
One of the nice things about owning a SAAB is that you meet such a nice group of people. I'd like to thank everyone who offered their help, I won't single-out any one individual, all are to be congratulated for their cameraderie.
