Hi all, I have been having difficulty tracing the source of a near stall/
stall just on cold start after car sitting for 12 hours or more.When it is warm it starts beautifully,though the idle is rougher than it should be.
On the cold starts it catches,rpm drops way down for several seconds and
then recovers and runs normally.
So far I have replaced: Spark plugs OEM
Vacuum lines
"Hooter" bpv valve with new designOEM
DI unit is recent.
The dealer has given it a fuel injector service which did not help to rule out that area.There is no flashing from the 'check engine'light when this occurs.I have examined the AMM and the filament does glow for a second
after switching ignition off.Any advice would be most appreciated.The other
thing I notice during a warm idle is a more pronounced drop in the engine
rpm when the fan or AC compressor cycle on and off.Since this problem started there is some vibration transmitted to the cabin that wasn't there before.All 3 lower mounts replaced.Thankyou in advance.
