and the woman I got it from had had periodic starting problems, which caused the local indie to replace several batteries. (as an aside, they also replaced the electronic throttle body, digital ignition and many other expensive things in an attempt to fix the TCS, which really only needed the CV replaced to work perfectly.) I saw it was just the connection last year when I took it over but lately I've had many odd electrical things going on, relays clicking like crickets after startup, resetting radio codes, lots of TCS problems, etc. I looked behind the cam cover and saw bits of the insulation just falling off. The part by the battery looked OK but when I flexed it, that insulation peeled off too. Cleaned up the connections and everything worked pretty well ('cept TCS) for a week while I wait for the new cable.
