I use DOT 4 Castrol LMA. I expect the other name brands (e.g. Valvoline) would be just fine. I just use Castrol oil and fluids from force of habit, and because they've never let me down.
Spend the extra effort to find the DOT 4. It is that much better for your car. Don't use DOT 3, and DON'T use DOT 5.
Most autoparts stores around me sell the Castrol DOT 4. I occasionally even see it in the hardware department of some larger supermarkets.
