my timing chain problems

Many thanks for all those who responded to my request for info on the broken timing chain on my 96 9000CSE. Thanks especially to Quasi -- have written to District Service Rep requesting review of file, asking for their reimbursement of repair costs, and suggesting my willingness to take further action in the event of their refusal (not a bluff -- I will do so).
Picked up car today (C$3,200 including tax and a goodwill dealer discount of 10%). Turns out the damage was caused by a broken key in the timing chain sprocket on the exhaust valve camshaft, which in turn broke the end of the camshaft and bent the exhaust valves. Dealer admits "off the record" that the failure was premature. Seems to me that such a failure at 132,000 km (about 790,000 miles -- you were right Quasi)is even less likely than a timing chain failure.
Will continue to pressure Saab Canada. Any thoughts about this failure very welcome. Especially welcome would be expert opinion that I could cite (i.e. a name and position/expertise as opposed to a "handle")as things proceed.
