But to be honest, I higly doubt the shop knows how to check for ECU ground signals.
Nothing is more simple than to find a problem when the car doesn't start at all. You just go from what's working to not working, step by step.
Trionic ECU is sending a ground signal from pin 56 on ECU to pin 5 at fuelpump relay. If that signal is not there, the relay never close and send the power to fuse 14 and subsequently to fuel pump.
Certainly they have already checked for power at pin 1 and 4 at the same relay????
And I certainly assume they have checked for ignition pulses from CKP (crank sensor) at pin 40 and 64 on Trionic ECU.
