Junior's car (87) had a decided "list" towards passenger side.. finally took it out to try and fix it cuz it was REALLY annoying. Dissasembled the entire seat lift mechanism.. took some doing till I made up a lever to reset the Darned spring.. had it all back together working perfectly. Then next day with 'Son' exploring the lift the thing messed again.. the boy noticed the largish Torx screw (from middle door side of the lower seat bolster trim plate) onna floor and that replacing it got it working again.
Suggest taking the pesky seat out and taking a good look at how the Mech works.. you will find the problem.. sooner than later hopefully :-).
