Don't know how mechanically inclined you are. Is removing the passenger side wheel arch something you can do? After the plastic arch is removed, the front engine mount will be in full view. The rear mount should also be visible with the help of a flash light. The rear mount is behind the power steering pump looking at the engine crouching in front of the passenger side wheel. Both mounts are a piece of rubber with fluid inside. Place a piece of wood betweeen the bottom of the oil pan and a hydraulic jack. Jack the engine up slowly but no more than an inch. You'll see the hydraulic fluid filled mount respond to the movement. If the mount is ruptured, the response will be different and easily detected.
