My 93 CSE recently went into limp home mode. My first thought was the safety valve. I had bought the car in LHM, and fixed it about 8 months ago by replacing the valve on the firewall with a used one. I went to Fox saab of GR Michigan, and replaced without change. What I'm confused about is my car still seams to boost normally. I see mid red in most gears, and havn't noticed a lack of power. Do all LHM cause boost to be cut to base? Also, I have cleaned contacts on both safety valves, and cleaned throttle body. Does the ECU have to be reset at a dealer after changing the valve? Such was not the case the last time. Help, I love my car, but miss having smooth idle, cruise, and AC. Any thoughts?
