There's a little foam bit the A/C lines go through, you can push right through that to get through the false firewall. If I remember correctly, there is a grommet you go through on the real firewall that will take you to just behind the... er, I was going to say glovebox, but your car has an airbag there. Hmm. Well, I bet the grommet is still there, just not sure what kind of access you have or how much room the airbag takes on the cabin side of it. Certainly is a lot shorter run than going from the O2 sensor harness all the way to the driver side footwell, though.
