I knew $630 was a complete ripoff. I learned a lesson. When they towed it in, I said "Just get it running." That openeded myself up to get screwed. Next time, I'll say "quote me to fix" first......
It's all about learning lessons. I've learned one about him. Never take it back. Sure, he made a couple hundred extra on me on this one. I plan on having my car a long time, and since it's a Saab, it's gonna need this and that over the next 5 years. Guess who I won't go to. Guess who I'm gonna tell everyone else who has a Saab here in Knoxville not to go to.
Hey, perhaps this is what this person wants, not to work on Saabs.
What sucks here in Knoxville, is the long-time Saab dealership folded and a long time Cadillac dealership took it over. The service people know NOTHING about Saabs.
I usually take mine to a guy about 20 miles away. But the tow truck wouldn't take my love that far so I had to settle on this guy. I didn't have much of a choice. Of course with Saab, do we ever have much of a choice? :o)
Thanks to everyone for their input. I will take it to the new dealer and cross my fingers they don't screw it up by hooking the Teck II computer to the wrong wires. ;o)
