Yet Another Clutch Post - Going nuts

I am trying to be logical about my 90 9000S clutch. New everything, master, slave, clutch set. Yet when I pressure bleed, all I get is bubbles. Won't push any fluid to speak of. Clutch pedal has no resistance at all. Where can the air that I am seeing at the bleeder be entering the system? If it is not pushing any fluid out of the bleeder, or very very little, can this be the pressurized air? The system does hold some pressure, because when I disconnect the air hose, pressure is released from the reservoir end. What I cannot work out is why I am not getting lots of fluid WITH my air. Where else does the system suck air from during a pressure bleed? Can it be that the hose from the reservoir to the master cyl is not sealing? I am ready to replace that flexible hose and the one from the master cyl to the slave. What is the source of the latter? What kind of hose can I use for the low pressure line from the reservoir? I am totally stumped.
