Ditching the TCS on a 93 - can someone explain this?

I am interested in disabling the TCS on my 93 Aero. I was thinking of getting the TCS on/off switch kit (part no 85 49 214) to this.
However, I would prefer a more permanent solution. I was reading through some threads on TCS and one by "zeke" noted how you could disable your TCS by "replacing the throttle body (can be found in salvage yards), disconnect the potentiometer at the gas pedal, and unplug the TCS computer
under the drivers' seat." I am not sure I understand what is going on here. When you disconnect the potentiometer, how will the ECU on my 93 know the position of the throttle? Furthermore, won't the main fuel injection ECU still give less gas when the wheels spin? Or, it won't do this because fuel injection ECU is not getting any info from the unplugged TCS computer? Also, if you do as zeke suggests, will you have a TCS light in the instrument cluster act as a night light every time you drive the car?
Would love to know... TIA.
