MAJOR CALL FOR HELP PART2
Well thanks for the replys to CALL 1. It's now up and going, with a new crank sensor and the relays in the RIGHT SLOTS!! Now the new problem. After this fix there is a draw on the battery that sucks it down to zip in about eight to ten hours while sitting. Battery takes a full charge and is the top battery from Diehard(international)took it in and it tests full strength with excellent crank power. So I put it back in the car and we put a test light on the neg post and with just the pos cable connected we started pulling relays and fuses to see which would turn the test light off. Eventually the radio/power antenna fuse when pulled, turned off the test light. The Sears counter person said this shouldn't knock my battery down to zip and the problem exists elswhere. ANY SUGGESTIONS? SEE BELOW FOR PREVIOUS DETAILS>
THANKS CHRIS
My car has been with a small shop mechanic for seven weeks. It's a '93 9000CSE non turbo. My car cranks, but will not start. We've replaced the fuel pump, the fuel pump relay, and crank potition sensor. When we crank there is no current getting to the DI or to fuse 14. I need my car now (I live in Wisconsin-Snow this week.) Is it a wiring problem or possibly a computer problem? Someone must know. My mechanic seems baffled and has called other shops which led to all the parts we put in. We're at an impass, please HELP!
