I think they dropped responsibility with warranty.

I have heard of quite a few being replaced under warranty, including both my '95 Aero and CSE. AeroGuy had his '97Aero hose replace 3 times in 25k miles. He is in Fla, and there is some discussion that those who live in hotter climates have more problems.
I'm a bit confused here. Didn't you say you had just picked up a '92? Do you still have the '91, and it's giving you problems?
I talked to my Saab indy, who works only on Saabs. He has never seen a bad clutch hose! My guess is the bad ones get replaced under warranty, and the newer ones are improved. In any case, I had asked him for a blown hose to do AeroGuy's fix, and was amazed that he had never had a bad one. Would love to get Ander's take on this.
My point is that I'm not sure I would jump into replacing the '92's hose just because you had problems with your '91. There may have been some other problem with the '91, or the repairs made. When you do get around to doing the repair, look up AeroGuy's fix which I posted on this board last Summer. Sounds cheap and permanent.
