Would loose DI cassette cause harm to the DI???

Took my car in for service about two weeks ago and had them do the plugs in addition to some other work. Opened the hood to check fluids yesterday and found that DI cassett was never fastened back down. One screw was missing and the other three just hanging by a thread. Could this cause damage to the DI cassette? It did seem to run a bit smoother after I secured the screws.
