I/C and injectors

Well, the KylarJonsson intercooler is twice as thick as the stock
I/C, and probably double the weight, too. However, with plastic
end-tanks, the stock I/C is no match for the boost pressures this
engine achieves. Also, a general rule of thumb is for every degree
drop in intake temperature, the EGT's will drop a degree. Dr. Boost
has already commented on how high the EGT's can get on a stock
Aero - this set-up should substantially attenuate the thermal stresses
involved with a turbo-charged internal combustion engine. And, as
a final bonus, being twice as thick, I'm sure the flow dynamics have
improved so that the pressure drop isn't as great as the stock I/C,
especially at WOT.
The injectors are the same as those found on the Volvo AWD S-70.
IIRC, their flow rate is about 20% more than the stock, red ones.
As I mentioned earlier, I haven't dynoed this, yet, so I can't say what
the A/F ratio looks like at peak boost, but theoretically, they should
be able to keep things from leaning-out.
