Thanks for the info.
The engine is coming from an Auto, which complicates matters a bit. I was hoping I could use the bracket from my 2.0L, but I guess I will have to find a new one. BOO!
You said that the outside shaft/CV joint differs, but what is this exactly?? If it is the CV joint near the wheel hubs, it should not make a difference for me. If it is one of the CV joints near the transmission, then I will need more parts! Please let me know.
As I said before, I am hoping to get the inner drivers and intermediate shaft with the transmission. However, if I don't, then I need to know what else I NEED to buy. Also, I don't know if I need to buy new axles or not because I don't know exactly what/where the differences are.
Thanks.
P.S. Against all advice I am using the stock wiring from the 1990. Since the '90 has DI/APC already, the swap is easier. I will retrofit the 2.0L intake manifold so that the LH 2.4 is happy. I am trying to get custom tuned chips, but if this doesn't happen, then I will have to do some more tuning by myself.
