It is not clear if there is a direct relationship between intake air temperature and boost level. There may be some concern about high intake air temp causing excessive exhaust temperature and possible action to keep the exhaust temp in bounds. The T5 does seem to target a max boost level if protective action is not taken for knock. We have not seen a reduction in boost except for very high ambient temps, which may be kicking in the anti knock function. This is all vague since there is no detailed description of the T5 logic and function, we can only observe and Dr. Boost can only relate so much. Keep working on him.
