of NYC. I ended up sending it back and putting back the old one with new synthetic grease. Fortunatetly my problem was a bad wheel bearing and no the transaxle.
Check the other end towards wheel, it might be different too, mine was ('92 auto). Now that you have your axle out take measurements and let the rebuilder/shop know and check before sending it back.
You could also purchase the tripod bearing caps and have install them yourself if yours are bad.
