Platinum plugs on dyno

Spent an hour at Power Engineering in Uxbridge this morning - will follow up with figures. But one point of interest was that I did my first run with a set of the NGK PFR7H-10 Platinum plugs, and then a later one with the standard BCPR 7ES, after running the car up several times against the rollers to give the ECU a chance to adapt if necessary.
The Platinums were new but I had done several adaptation runs the previous day. The NGKs had done about 2,000 miles in the engine.
The Platinum plugs gave anything from 1 to 4 less, yes less power than the standard plugs, except at 3000 rpm (just starting) and over 5800. A one-off test, on just one car, but it's my car and I think I'll stick with the standard article until NGK come up with a positive recommendation to change.
If anyone else would like to try the Platinum plugs, send me an address label!
