Hi, I had the same problem last year but it was on the rear right door. The door opener linkage (rod) plastic rataining clip was broken and could not hold the rod to its position. This plastic clip (black/half inch in height)is very brittle and is bound to break on a sudden opening/releasing of the door opener. You have to open the door panel, the rod linkage is visible, and locate the broken plastic clip. I think there are two plastic retaining clips holding the linkage to the metal plate of the door. The clips crown has to be pressed onto the hole on the door metal plate to lock itself and hold the rod linkage to its position. Ask the Saab dealer and probably they will just give you these clips for free...hopefully..
I hope this could help you..Good luck..
