Was driving up to Santa Fe for a bike race when the 919kcdt gave up.
Symptoms: Car acted like it was running outta gas. Or kinda like when the DI cassette went bad. It was running cool and calm, no smoke or anything.
Had it towed back.
Now starts right up, but won't idle or respond to throttle; just stalls.
Recent work: @10k ago: timing chain, head gasket, turbo rebuild, radiator, heater core.
This past week: Water pump, serpentine belt. Patched a small hole in the forward muffler with JB weld.
Does this sound like a fuel pump? Any thoughts? I'm going to check that muffler first.
Thanks for any help!!!
Patrick
