I chose the less expensive Hepu pump at the suggestion of others.
It is a quality piece of goods made in Germany and seemed substantial
enough to my eye.
It took me a couple of hours outside in the driveway, working leisurely
and carefully. I ran the Aero up on Rhino ramps and dropped the bottom
plastic shields. If I remember correctly I found it easier to reach one of
the pump bolts from under.
A couple of tips...
Put a piece of corrugated cardboard behind the radiator to prevent damage
to the fins from your tools and fingers. Remove the serp belt, unbolt the
A/C compressor and gently swing it out of the way without opening the
system. Use some fine emery paper to clean the ports in the block that
accept the o-ringed pipes on the pump. Use a thin layer of the appropriate
silcone gasket stuff to stick the gasket in place.
Not a bad DIY job...
