But to be sure, you may want to have them flow tested. Especially if you plan on swapping in an engine that doesn't include the injection equippment. You should be able to find a local speed job/FI specialist to do all of them for around ~$60, or you can send them off for a little more. For a diference in flowrate to be dramatic enough to cause your problem, I imagine you could even be creative and hot wire the fuel pump then trigger each injector for a certain amount of time and measure the output in a graduated container. Just a thought anyway. I imagine a used engine (asuming there's a decent supply up there) would be just as cheap or cheaper than the machine work and pistons required to rebuild the existing motor.
