Winter balance found

Just thought I'd share this with you guys..... who might be interested in winter driveability.
AS U know, the stock CSE slightly understeers when road conditions are extreme, which is safe, but not much fun..... I was a bit worried (for winter) of doing chassis mods, but the end result has turned out to be very balanced. I have a -94 CSE 2,3 FPT manual, equipped now with Koni Sports and polyurethane parts in the front lower control arm rear bushes, front sway bar to control arm joints, rear sway bar to "hanger" bushes and one in the engine dog bone. The springs are stock.
Keeping all rebound damping set to minimum the car is much more balanced to thow around even in deep snow and/or icy roads. Just by lifting the throttle slightly the rear wheels loose some of the remaining traction and the vehicle enters a very controlled 4 wheel skid. Adding torque will regain the rear traction and vice versa. It's so much more fun than before. What's interesting (and what I worried a bit), so far there's been no tendency to spin the whole car in any situation. Even when "panic" hits and you think all is lost..... very rewarding.
Increasing the front rebound, the stronger understeer behaviour is restored.
BTW, I run studded Gislaved Nord Frost 3 tires.
Regards,
Tapani
