Couple of questions

I have a 9000 cse turbo, 1993 with 'bout 145k. I've had it for about 4 months and for the most part its been...(knocks on head/wood)...a good car.
I've had to replace the crankshaft pulley, the TCS Bleeder valve (limp home mode), and the middle part of the exaust.
Currently, theres a belt sqeal/sqeek, and the belt, (S-Belt) seems out of alignment at the alternator for some unknown reason, I assume the previous owner put in a rebuilt alt, that doesn't fit right.
The power steering pumps groans occasionally, and the temperature gets up to 3/4 and sometimes higher pretty often before dipping back down to about midway....is that normal for a 9k ?
The commom demoninator is that all these parts are run by the S belt..right?
Unrelated..but something else.. the diagnostic computer said that theres a malfunction with the "crankshaft position sensor", but the car drives basically good....slightly rough idle imo.
Finally the other night the temp went up to just below red until i pulled over and shut off the car then started back up and it went down to midway.
If anyone can help me with my beautiful but sometimes bitchy swede, I'd appreaciate it!....
