If started out with the maximum gapped plugs, it will only take a few thousands of miles and the plug is worn beyond Saab's recommended limit.

And have Saab misprinted the service flyer sent out to all US dealers (P/N 0217927 printed 04/02) Where the suffix 11 is dropped on all there plugs except the BKR7ES-11 for the 9-5 V6?

I know you are a performance specialist and the max gap is probably the way to go to get the horsees out of the engine, but it will also require that the customer get the plugs regapped at every oilchange (which is not gonna happen)

Most costumers don't think about the plugs until they see the charge on their bill after the 30K miles service.

Just a thought from a grassroot mechanic
