93 Aero in Vancouver

I am thinking of buying a 93 Aero with 175K km/105K miles. I looked at it yesterday in Vancouver and it was a little rough around the edges. Needed one of the mufflers, heater core leaking, motor mounts so bad the 5 sp shifter felt like it was moving ++. Seemed to be missing at idle, which I gather suggests a bad DI cassette and/or plugs. On the road, the turbo boosted well and everything felt OK.It had spent some time where they salt the roads, as the nifty Aero wheels were pockmarked with corrosion. Apart from a few other minor cosmetic stuff like a crack rear light deck and a worn patch on the pass. seat leather, it seemed Ok. The owner died 6 months ago and his daughter is selling it for $9000 CAN, which is about $5500 USD. Now I realize that I would need to pour in $1-2000 easily to get it in decent shape, and at the right price it may be worth it considering I would do some of the repairs and all of the fluids and smaller repairs myself. My only worry is that after I get everything done, will I be constantly repairing things due to the fact that it wasn't well maintained throughout it's life? Worried about rust down the road too. I will get it inspected by Swedish Motorsport if I do decide to buy. Anyone in the Vancouver area familiar with this car?
