TCS light, engine RPM to the limit, check this one out

On my '93 Aero, 5 speed, The TCS would initially go into limp mode once a week. After shutting off and restarting it was OK. Then it progressed to a few times a week and with the CEL on. Then it became notorious where the TCS & CEL would come on as soon as the engine got warm. In order to prevent it, I had to maintain the RPM at 1500 on idle and also not make it suddenly drop from higher RPM, otherwise limp mode again. I cleaned out the throttle body, the idle was better but the problem was still there. After 30 minutes of driving and stopping the engine for 5 minutes, upon startup the RPM climbed past 4000 RPM and climbing. I immediately shutoff the engine and removed the electronic throttle fuse (25amp) to force the system into limp mode and have been driving this way ever since. I tried new vacuum valve and diaphragm on false firewall. Same thing. As soon as I begin to connect the fuse and make contact as the engine is idling, the acceleration begins. Remove the fuse and it drops, begin reconnecting and it starts to climb, just as if you were accelerating with the throttle. Looks like something took over my throttle.
I have the old ETB part number on the car. Is the ETB really gone? I have not found any postings on the BB that suggests rpm shooting to 5000. This is a good challenge for the BB readers. Are there any experts out there that can figure this one out? Could it be that I need to recalibrate the system with the Tech2 since the throttle cleaning may have repositioned the throttle flap in the ETB.
Any help is welcome. I have an appointment at the dealer in 2 days to put on the Tech2.
