I have problems with rough idle and occasionaly TCS problems. I don't know if they are related but here is what I experience.

When I start my car (92' 9000T) engine starts fine but RPM is very low at maybe 300-500. It's so low that I think the engine will stall any seconds but it almost never does. Then it slowly (within 5-10 seconds) climb just above 1000 and then downto ~700 - 800 (just below whats' usually normal RPM').

When driving I don't feel any thing expect when I come to a stop. Just as I stop RPM drops downto 300-500 RPM but usually comes up and stabilize at 700-800 RPM (again just below the normal for IDLE). In this situation I do think the engine sometimes misfire, but I'm not sure. If I - in this situation - put the gear from D to P the RPM's very often goes up to normal RPM. Going back to D (Drive) the RPM drops again.
Few times, when stopping quickly the engine has stopped.
I'm not sure whether this is a correct observation but I do feel it's slightly worse in rainy and or cold wheather!

Spark plugs are ~new (5000 miles)
I have checked the hoses and I don't see anyone leaking.

Any suggestions, ideas ?

Now for the TCS.
Occasionally it comes on when I'm about to start the engine and it really don't want to run. RPM at few hundreds. The 3 times it has happen has all been during or just after heavy rain, so would there be any sensor's that could get rain and mayme misfeed the computer ?

I would appreciate any feedback and help.

regards
Robert Sorensen
