13.7 cSt is low-middle for SAE 40. I don't understand the fuel dillution - the letter code could mean "trace" - I called Shaefer's lab when a subscriber sent in his analysis. The tech said that "trace" dillution was common, and that samples with "trace" dillution routinely show a viscosity one grade below what the label says. At any rate, the oil measured well within Saab's specs.
As for the silicon, they might have identified larger particles of silicon bearing materials (dirt) versus what they read from the spark spectrograph, which fails to vaporize large particles and thus understates the percentage. Silicon can be a component in the oil, and can also be a component in the wear products suspended in the oil. In either case, the particles are likely to be much smaller than "dirt". You can also pick up some dirt when sampling the oil - it doesn't take much to throw off the reading.
