I have both of those instruments on my '92 9000S (from the factory); the oil temperature sender does indeed replace the drain plug. I don't have the part number (would have to go get under the car to see it), but it can be ordered from your dealer. For some reason, the price of $21 sticks in my mind as the cost of the temperature sender unit. The oil pressure sensor is also located on the oil pan, but it is up front; it is triangular in shape, and has a standard SAAB two-pin connector on it.
