I thought I would find Ari's solutions as the guest kid in there pulled like crazy on the inner handle. Thoughts of $$$ in my eyes as I started. Found latch was in need of white grease. It was dry and dragging. Had to use some 30 weight oil to break it loose with mutiple cycling. Then the grease on slide surfaces. Learned how important it was getting the smaller rod that is in the lower half of the actual latch back into the white nylon follower to move the magnet of the "Is the door open or closed sensor" .

Remove latch with the 3 large torx screws, clean and set aside. Do the panel removal, the connecting rod, the power lock motor, and the latch. Clean and lube. Carefully replace , I bent the little rod that moves the nylon follower. By the way, it straightens.
