Bruce,
My two cents - the pressure bleeder referenced in the ad via the speedbleeder link does not cost $300. A pressure bleeder from Motive Products costs $45, can be had from many suppliers, and can be used on multiple cars. These speeedbleeder valves seem to have a couple of very questionable points to them: their thread-sealing system has to be some sort of crushable, spray-on material. Screw them in once, and it seals (perhaps well); remove them at any time after installation, and your thread sealing probably goes away. As you essentially have an open passage from outside right into the working of the bleeder, you have to ensure that your rubber dustboot covers don't come off or fail - otherwise mondo crud, and $7.00 down the tubes. For the price of $7.00, it seems you should be able to expect a stainless steel body as well, and not galvanized brass. Final observation: when you bleed brakes or a clutch, you do not only need to let fluid expel, but also be able to reach a certain velocity while being expelled - its this velocity which actually carries the air bubbles out of lines, proportioning valves, etc. How much velocity are you going to get with this spring/check-ball assembly?
