I'm having a problem with "sometimes" long cranks on starting. I was told that if I crank it over a couple of turns, then turn the key one while the fuel pump pressurizes the system it will start. Lo and Behold, that worked. It seems to indicate that the problem is the fuel check valve on the fuel pump. I also have been told that they put two different sized ones on 88 T's. A 10mm and a 12mm. Not sure how to tell which one I have. Anyway - I don't quite know where to start, and am looking for some detailed info.
