Hi you in the cold ! I think the first thing you have to do is to check your antifreeze fluid. If it cannot sustain down to -20 farenheit,preferably -40 farenheit, you could loose your engine. You do not need a Saab dealer to check that. Any mechanic can check that. If you dont have a tester, you can get one in an auto part dealer for 5$ or 10$ and check it yourself.
If your fluid is OK, you have to check why some antifreeze fluid is leaking.
If the fluid is not OK, you have at least to remove some antifreeze from the system, not only from the overflow reservoir, and put pure antifreeze fluid to replace it. Any mechanic can do that, you dont need a saab specialist.
If you are not familiar with the cooling system (reservoir, radiator, hoses etc), that is where you should put some bread first.
It is my first winter with my Saab (91 9000 turbo), it is now -15 farenheit here, and i am surprised that I had only one small problem : one morning the passenger door would not close, as yours. I attached the door with an elastic rope to the parking brake lever, let the car heat for 3 minutes and it closed OK.
I dont know what to do with your driver's door. Perhaps a Saab specialist on this board could give you a good advice. I had a similar problem with another car. I heated the key with a ligther, put it in the lock, waited a few seconds and it was OK.
